BUSINESS ENGLISH FOR BUSINESSES AND COMPANIES
3 signs that it's high time that you had your staff take one of our Business English training courses
#1
You’ve observed that mistakes or delays due to communication breakdown are incredibly common in projects involving collaboration between native and non-native speakers who are inevitably forced to use English to communicate. |
#2
You’re well aware that tasks and projects in which excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a prerequisite cannot be assigned to certain employees solely because of their poor language skills. |
#3
You’ve noticed that even your best, most promising employees tend to underperform in tasks involving use of the English language. |
3 reasons why you won’t regret offering them this training opportunity
#2
Your employees’ productivity and efficiency will increase. Instead of resorting to the quite unreliable Google Translator, asking colleagues how to express certain things in English, or panicking even, your employees could be carrying out other, more beneficial to the company, tasks. If they were to take our Business English courses, they would no longer have to worry that much about their English skills. As a result, they would save themselves the frustration, get more things done within the day, and move on to other important matters more efficiently. |
#3
You’ll be able to entrust your employees with more responsibilities in the international business activities and operations of your company. It's common knowledge that English is the lingua franca in most industries and work skills, from commerce and sales to negotiating and marketing. In other words, it's the ultimate tool your staff can leverage so as to contribute to the success of the company in international business activities. |
"Demi Chremou proved to be a highly driven and hardworking professional who developed a good rapport with all the students and had outstanding results with regard to the employees' progress.”
- CONSTANTIN GEORGIKOPOULOS (for the employees of Adidas)
STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE
STEP 1: PLACEMENT TEST
The staff are asked to take a placement test in order that their level of English competence is determined. STEP 2: LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT REPORT AND NEEDS ANALYSIS Once each student’s level is determined, a language assessment report is sent to the company. Then the instructor and the student set realistic learning goals upon which the instructor will base the syllabus and structure of the course. STEP 3: TAILOR-MADE LESSONS The instructor designs and delivers tailor-made lessons, adapted to the student’s learning needs, thus facilitating the learning process and accelerating the student’s progress. The lessons’ aim is to improve the learner’s contextualised knowledge of the English language by simulating the business environment and keeping all aspects of the course relevant to the learner’s working life. Our ultimate objective is to help our students become more confident and effective communicators in the workplace. OUR APPROACH TO TEACHING:
STEP 4: STUDENT ASSESSMENT AND PROGRESS REPORT After important assessment, along with the test scores, the HR department also receives a progress report with comments on progress made, areas of improvement, and recommendations. STEP 5: CERTIFICATION This stage is optional. Towards the end of the Business English training course, the company or the student may request that the course be extended so that the learner prepares for one of the English language examinations offered by prestigious institutions such as Cambridge University, the University of Michigan, etc. with a view to obtaining a recognised language certificate. |
TWO COURSES ADAPTED TO YOUR NEEDS
The structure and efficiency of the online course is exactly the same as that of the in-house training. The only way in which it differs is that it is location independent with the lessons being conducted in a digital classroom environment. Requirement: the student must have access to a stable Internet connection.
|
In the case of in-house training, a qualified instructor is delegated to deliver Business English lessons to the staff within the company premises. While on-site courses offer less flexibility as they entail both time and geographic restrictions, they remain ideal for students who prefer face-to-face communication.
